Senior Manager – Construction & Supply Chain Audit
Starpath Holdings Ltd. is looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Construction & Supply Chain Audit to oversee construction and supply chain audit activities. The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing project costs, construction materials, procurement activities, contractor/vendor bills, and related documentation to ensure accuracy, quality, compliance, and cost control.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction and supply chain audit activities across projects.
- Inspect and physically verify construction materials to ensure the required quantity, quality, specifications, and standards are maintained.
- Review project budgets, BOQs, work orders, and variation orders to identify errors, inconsistencies, and unauthorized changes.
- Review and verify contractor and vendor bills against approved work orders, BOQs, measurements, rates, and completed work.
- Check R/A bills and measurement sheets for overbilling, duplicate billing, incorrect rates, and unauthorized claims.
- Identify and report risks related to cost overruns, procurement fraud, conflicts of interest, duplicate payments, and unauthorized purchases.
- Review procurement activities and help ensure that materials are purchased at appropriate prices and according to required quality standards.
- Apply practical knowledge of construction materials, sourcing, market pricing, and quality standards to identify discrepancies and potential cost savings.
- Identify weaknesses in construction and procurement processes and recommend practical corrective actions.
- Prepare audit findings and reports for management and follow up on corrective actions where required.
- Work closely with the Construction, Procurement, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Accounts teams to ensure proper documentation and compliance.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering.
Experience & Requirements
- 10–15 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in real estate, property development, construction, supply chain, or building/construction materials will be preferred.
- Strong practical knowledge of building construction and construction materials.
- Good understanding of BOQ, work orders, variations, measurement sheets, contractor bills, and R/A bills.
- Strong knowledge of construction material sourcing, quality, and pricing.
- Ability to identify financial, procurement, and operational risks.
- Strong analytical, checking, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in construction and supply chain audit will be highly preferred.
